Definition and Function of the Qur'an and Hadith

Understanding the Qur'an :In etymology Qur'an is mashdar (noun) of the verb Qoro'a (قرأ) meaningful Talaa (تلا) both mean: reading, or meaningful Jama'a (gathering, collecting). You can be said Qoro-'a Qor'an Wa Qur'aanan (قرأ قرءا وقرآنا). Based on the first meaning (ie: Talaa) then he is mashdar (noun) that convey the same Maf'uul Ism, meaning Matluw (read). While based on the meaning of the second (Ie: Jama'a) then he is mashdar of Ism Faa'il, meaning Jaami '(Gatherer, collectors) because it gathers / collects news and laws. 

While the terminology of the Quran is the word or revelation that comes from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad by the Angel Gabriel as an intermediary through guidelines and instructions for all mankind of all times, the people and the location. Kitab Al-Qur'an is as a complement of our books that Allah never previously revealed. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are our principal source of Islamic teachings and is a reference to Muslims in understanding the law. In 1958 one of the western scholars who have conducted research and scientific study of the Koran mengatan that: "The main points of the teachings of the Qur'an is so dynamic and lasting perennial, so there is nothing in this world that a holy book more than 12 centuries, but purely in the text ". 1. Strengthen and assert the law contained in the Qur'an. 
2. Outlining and detailing the global (mujmal), linking absolute and general mentakhsiskan ( 'am), Tafsil, Takyid, and Takhsis desired function is to clarify what the Qur'an. Rasululloh has a duty to explain the Qur'an as the word of Allah Almighty in the Qur'an. An-Nahl verse 44:"And We have sent down to you the Qur'an, so that you may explain to mankind what has been revealed to them and so they think" (QS. An-Nahl: 443.
